Exercises to Get Ready For Your Honeymoon

As the honeymoon approaches, most couples want to look their best for the big day. Whether you want to lose some pounds or tone your problem areas, there are workouts everywhere that will help you get to where you want to be. Whatever your goal is, it is important to stick with the challenges and keep pushing through even when it gets hard. There are many different things to help you through the process, and if you are motivated and determined, you will get the results you want.

1.    The first thing that you need to do is set a goal for yourself. Plan this goal based on the date of the honeymoon and how much time you think you will need to meet this goal. It helps to know your body and know what exercises work for you and which ones don’t. This will allow you to spend time with the exercises that do work instead of wasting time on the ones that don’t.

2.    Second, you need to create a workout plan that will meet your needs and will get you the results that you want. Put together a workout that has cardio and high-intensity exercises. Your workout plan should consist of different exercises for various days of the week. You can have the same exercise within the week but try to avoid doing that one exercise every day. If you avoid the same exercise, there will be less room for your workout to plateau. If you are going to a gym that is close by to do this work out, see if there is a trainer there that can assist you in creating this workout. Change up the workout and keep the motivation throughout the process.

3.    Set aside time in your day to workout. Most workouts should be between 45 minutes to an hour. If some days you only have 30 minutes, that’s fine, try to make up that time the next day. Setting aside time for you to accomplish your goals will not feel like a chore but something to look forward to during the day. Your days will be stressful and working out is a great way to relieve stress and have you feeling great.

4.    If you are targeting a particular part of your body that you want to improve, be sure that you work that section every day or every other day. Concentrate on that area but get creative and do various exercises that engage the muscles differently. Engaging the muscles differently will confuse the muscles and will assist with greater results.

5.    The next thing that you must do, and maybe the hardest thing for some, is watching what you eat. There will be times that you are stressed and want a big bowl of ice cream or that hot fudge brownie. These are not the best choices when working to get the honeymoon body that you want and deserve. During this period, you need to be extremely strict on yourself and avoid those calorie-filled cravings.

6.    Be sure that you give yourself enough time to work out before the honeymoon. Do not try to lose 30 pounds in two weeks. Not only is this unhealthy, but you will most likely not see the results you want to see. Give yourself enough time to lose weight healthily and not feel rushed for time.

7.    Stay motivated. This is one of the most important pieces of advice that you should always listen to when trying to reach a goal. If you are not motivated anymore, your workout will suffer or potentially even stop. Find something that will motivate you to continue onto your goal and be ready for your honeymoon. If it helps, tell your spouse what you want to do and allow them to help to motivate you. Please, do not get upset at your spouse when they are motivating you. If you are asking them to do this for you, allow them to help and do not take it personally.

You know your body, and you know your limits. Be sure that you work out in a healthy manner and accomplish your goals when you want them to be accomplished. If you do not meet your goals that is fine; the important thing is that you feel comfortable.
