1.       Chamarel Waterfall - The Chamarel waterfall is a 100 meter waterfall; the highest waterfall on the island. Visitors can climb the stairs to the viewing platform of the waterfall and view the water falling into the pool at the base of the falls. A trip to the Chamarel waterfall also leads to a visit to the Seven Colored Earth. This location features sand dunes that are distinctly different colors and range from reds to purples. These dunes were created by volcanic rocks and became crushed into sand.

This location is the most sacred Hindu place on this island. Near the Grand Basin, there is a temple that is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The waters are believed to be holy and originate from the River Ganges in India.

You can even see bats hanging from branches and lakes that fish and giant turtles call home.
